myBillBook is India’s leading GST billing & accounting software with mobile, web app & native desktop offerings and runs on Android as well as iOS. myBillBook has been designed to aid SMB owners to conduct their operations from anywhere and anytime and provides a secure platform for business owners to record transactions & track business performance on the go. It helps them create bills (GST & non-GST), record purchases & expenses,



manage inventory and track payables/receivables directly from their mobile phones or computers, and generates 25 critical business reports that help business owners make effective business decisions. myBillBook is currently available in English, Hindi, Gujarati & Tamil.

Currently, the app has been downloaded by over 6.5M SMBs across the country with over 10x growth in user base in the last 12 months alone. Even with such pace of adoption of the product, myBillBook continues to be the highest rated application in its category on Google Play Store.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, maintain and optimise features and components of the Flobiz Android app, with a focus on quality, performance and reliability.

- Work with a builder mindset and collaborate across cross-functional teams to understand problems, unblock execution and accelerate delivery. No role silos.

- Use LLM-assisted tools (Claude, Cursor, AI-powered code review and testing) as a core part of how you build, to improve development velocity and code quality.

- Take ownership of the components you build, including edge cases, testing and production issues, and communicate progress and blockers transparently.

- Write clean, readable and maintainable Kotlin code,



and understand every change you ship, including AI-assisted code.

- Contribute to feature discussions and engineering best practices, and grow your craft with support from senior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

- 2 years of experience in Android development, building and shipping applications.

- BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

- Strong software development skills in Kotlin.

- Working experience with Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, and Hilt-based dependency injection

- Good understanding of Android architecture, lifecycle, Coroutines and modern UI development and StateFlow/Flow-based state management.

- Ability to read and understand existing code before changing it, which matters more when working with AI tools, not less.

- Working knowledge of Git and code-review practices.

- Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.

- Comfort using LLM-assisted development tools, or a strong eagerness to adopt them.

- A rapid learner who is comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership of problems.

- Effective communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM).

- Experience working in a large, multi-module Android codebase

- Experience with Flutter or other cross-platform development.

- Experience developing and publishing apps on the Google Play Store.

- Experience working in a startup environment.
