Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Management (SCM) Architect to define and drive the end-to-end solution architecture for procurement, inventory, warehouse, and production planning processes on SAP ECC / S/4HANA. The role requires deep functional and architectural expertise across MM, PP, WM/EWM (and ideally IBP/APO), along with proven experience delivering multi-country solutions across US and EU operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end SCM solution architecture spanning Procure-to-Pay, Plan-to-Produce, and Warehouse/Inventory Management (SAP MM, PP, WM / EWM, and IBP/APO where applicable).
- Lead blueprinting and fit-gap workshops with US and EU supply chain stakeholders, ensuring the design accommodates regional regulatory and logistics requirements (e.g., Intrastat, import/export compliance, customs, multi-plant and multi-country inventory strategies).
- Define integration architecture between SCM modules and adjacent processes (SD, FI/CO, QM, PM) as well as external systems (EDI, transportation management, supplier portals, IoT/MES where relevant).
- Drive global template strategy and localization approach for phased rollouts across North America and Europe, balancing standardization with local business needs.
- Review functional specifications and WRICEF objects for architectural fit, scalability, and performance, particularly for high-volume warehouse and production environments.
- Chair architecture governance forums, resolve cross-module design conflicts, and maintain the SCM design authority documentation.
- Lead solution design through the full project lifecycle — blueprint, realization, testing, cutover, and hypercare — on large,



multi-country SAP programs.
- Guide and mentor SCM functional consultants; act as escalation point for complex design and performance issues.
- Collaborate closely with OTC, RTR, and technical architects to ensure a cohesive, well-integrated end-to-end solution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 12+ years of SAP SCM experience (MM, PP, WM/EWM) including at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementations in a solution architect or lead role.
- Proven experience delivering SCM solutions for both US and EU operations, including familiarity with EU logistics/customs regulations and US supply chain/distribution practices.
- Strong hands-on expertise in procurement (MM), production planning (PP — discrete/process/repetitive), and warehouse management (WM or EWM).
- Experience with S/4HANA SCM (Manufacturing, Sourcing & Procurement, EWM) and at least one greenfield or brownfield S/4HANA conversion.
- Demonstrated experience integrating SCM with SD, FI/CO, QM/PM, and external logistics/EDI systems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills; experience leading cross-regional design workshops with business and IT leadership.
- Solid understanding of global template design, rollout methodology, and multi-country localization.

Preferred / Valuable to Have:

- SAP S/4HANA certification in Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, or EWM.
- Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or APO.
- Exposure to Ariba, transportation management (TM), or advanced planning tools.
- Prior experience in a consulting or systems integrator environment delivering to large enterprise clients.

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or equivalent is a plus).
