Job Title : SAP PP/QM Consultant

Relevant Experience : 5 to 12 Years

JD 1:

SAP PP Consultant With 5+ years of experience , supports manufacturing processes by managing master data, running MRP, and resolving L1 support tickets.

Key duties include documenting as-is processes, conducting unit testing, and supporting production planning (MTS/MTO) using SAP S/4HANA or ECC Master Data Management: Maintain and validate data for Bill of Materials (BOM), Routings, and Work Centers.

PP Process Execution: Assist in running Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and processing production orders.

Testing Documentation: Create functional specifications, perform unit testing, and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).

Integration: Support integration points between PP and modules like MM, QM, and FICO Strong command of ITIL processes (Incident/Change/Problem Management) and experience using ITSM tools like ServiceNow Driving operational improvements and efficiencies through the creation and implementation of rigorous process and controls, Driving Tools/Automation

JD 2:

Desired Skills Experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects.

- Minimum of 5 years designing and configuring QM modules knowledge of the key integration points between the other SAP modules (MM and PP experience is an asset).
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time • Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset • Understanding of accounting business processes • Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective • Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a can-do attitude adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness

JD 3:

Role Summary The SAP PPQM Consultant (C2) is responsible for end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules.



The role requires solid functional expertise, client-facing capability, and hands-on delivery experience across SAP ECC and S/4HANA landscapes. ## Key Responsibilities ### SAP PP (Production Planning) - Lead and configure SAP PP processes including:

- Master Data (BOM, Work Center, Routing, Production Versions) - Demand Management MRP - Production Orders Process Orders - Capacity Planning and Scheduling - Configure and support:
- Make-to-Stock (MTS) - Make-to-Order (MTO) - Repetitive Manufacturing - Integrate PP with:
- MM (Material Planning Procurement) - SD (Demand Sales integration) - CO (Product Costing, Variance Analysis) - Support production execution issues and performance optimization ### SAP QM (Quality Management) - Configure end-to-end SAP QM processes:
- Quality Inspection (Incoming, In-process, Final) - Inspection Planning Characteristics - Quality Notifications (Q1/Q2/Q3) - Results Recording Usage Decisions - Configure and manage:
- Master Inspection Characteristics (MIC) - Sampling procedures - Defect recording and analysis - Integrate QM with:
- PP (In-process inspections) - MM (GR inspections) - SD (Customer complaints) - Support compliance with quality and regulatory standards ### SAP S/4HANA Advanced Capabilities - Work on S/4HANA PP/QM transformations - Exposure to:
- Fiori apps for production and quality - Embedded analytics and KPIs - Simplification list changes for PP/QM - Support data migration and cutover activities ### Project Delivery Client Engagement - Conduct business requirement workshops - Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD) - Coordinate with technical teams for RICEFW objects - Execute and lead:
- Unit Testing (UT) - System Integration Testing (SIT) - User Acceptance Testing (UAT)



- Support Go-live and Hypercare phases - Provide production support and issue resolution ## Required Skills Qualifications ### Educational Qualifications - B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial) - MBA (Operations) or equivalent ### SAP Functional Skills - 3–6 years of SAP PP and QM hands-on experience - Strong configuration knowledge in PP and QM - Good understanding of manufacturing business processes - Experience in at least one end-to-end SAP implementation - Knowledge of discrete manufacturing environments preferred ### Soft Skills - Strong client-facing and communication skills - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Analytical and problem-solving mindset - Mentoring junior team members (D1/D2) ## Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills - SAP S/4HANA certification in PP or QM - Experience with:
- PP-DS (basic exposure) - Batch Management Variant Configuration - Exposure to global rollout projects - Experience in Agile / Activate methodology ## Deliverables - Business Blueprint Functional Design Documents - Configuration and Transport Management - Test Scenarios and Defect Logs - End-user Training SOPs - Post Go-live Support Documentation
