We’re seeking an experienced Production Planning &

- Advanced Scheduling Specialist with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing. You’ll play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing production planning strategies that drive efficiency, agility, and on-time delivery — all while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

This position is based onsite at our manufacturing facility in Surat/Hazira, Gujarat. We welcome candidates who are excited to immerse themselves in a hands-on, plant-floor environment and contribute to our mission of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the development and execution of production planning strategies aligned with customer demand, manufacturing capacity, inventory targets, and business objectives.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize production schedules while considering material availability, machine capacity, manpower, production priorities, and delivery commitments.
- Utilize advanced production planning and scheduling methodologies to optimize production sequences, minimize downtime, reduce changeovers, and improve overall equipment utilization.
- Analyze demand, supply, capacity, inventory, and production data to identify constraints, bottlenecks, and potential risks.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and IT teams to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
- Support implementation, configuration, and enhancement of SAP-based production planning solutions, including SAP PP and, where applicable, SAP PP/DS.




- Work with business and technical teams to translate manufacturing requirements into effective system and process solutions.
- Monitor production planning KPIs and prepare regular performance reports for management.
- Identify deviations from planned production and proactively revise schedules based on changes in customer demand, material availability, machine breakdowns, capacity constraints, or other operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, production efficiency, resource utilization, inventory levels, and on-time delivery.
- Support the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and production planning best practices.
- Participate in process improvement and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Process Modelling &

- Optimization

- Develop and maintain AS-IS and TO-BE process models for production planning and manufacturing processes.
- Utilize tools such as SAP Signavio, ARIS, and Microsoft Visio to document, analyze, and improve production workflows.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation.
- Work with stakeholders to standardize production planning processes across manufacturing functions.

SAP &

- Technical Responsibilities

- Support SAP PP processes including MRP, production orders, BOM, routing, work centers, production versions, capacity planning, and scheduling.
- Provide functional support for SAP-based production planning and scheduling solutions.
- Participate in requirement gathering, functional design, testing, implementation, and deployment activities.
- Support integration between production planning, procurement, inventory, warehouse, quality, and supply chain processes.
- Troubleshoot planning-related system issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with production managers, planners, supply chain teams, plant operations, IT teams, and business stakeholders.




- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions and process workshops.
- Provide training and guidance to production planners and business users.
- Act as a subject matter expert for production planning and advanced scheduling.

Required Skills &

- Experience

- 5–7 years of experience in production planning, manufacturing planning, scheduling, or SAP production planning.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production operations.
- Hands-on experience with Advanced Production Planning and Scheduling (APS) concepts.
- Strong knowledge of MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, resource planning, and inventory management.
- Experience with SAP PP / SAP S/4HANA is preferred.
- Experience with SAP PP/DS or SAP APO PP/DS will be a strong advantage.
- Experience with Signavio, ARIS, Visio, or similar process modelling tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Good understanding of supply chain and material planning processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing plant environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing, process manufacturing, automotive, engineering, chemicals, metals, or other industrial environments is preferred.
- SAP certification in PP, S/4HANA, or related manufacturing modules will be an advantage.
