SAP HCM / SAP Payroll Lead Consultant Experience 8 10 Years Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Payroll Consultant/Lead with strong hands-on experience in SAP HCM configuration, implementation, payroll processing, and integration. The ideal candidate should have experience leading large-scale enterprise SAP HCM projects, preferably with Australia (AUS) or New Zealand (NZL) deployments , and at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA HCM implementation .

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, configure, and implement large-scale SAP HCM / Payroll projects.
- Participate in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA HCM implementation.
- Configure and maintain SAP Payroll components including:

- Wage Types

- Benefits and deductions

- Garnishments

- Accumulations
- Off-cycle payroll processing

- Date and period modifiers

- Payroll reporting
- Configure and support SAP Time Management and Time Evaluation.
- Work with SAP Schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs).
- Configure and maintain PT60, Time Evaluation, and Time Schemas.
- Configure SAP HR functionality including:

- Personnel Actions

- Dynamic Actions

- Valuation Basis

- Absence Types

- Absence Quotas

- Work Schedules
- Support different payroll calendars and pay cycles, including weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls for hourly and salaried employees.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into SAP HCM/Payroll solutions.
- Develop process maps, configuration documents, and technical development specifications.
- Perform application testing, defect resolution, and production support.
- Handle change management activities related to SAP HR and Payroll processes.




- Understand and support integrations between:

- Personnel Administration

- Personnel Time Management

- Incentive Wages

- SAP Accounting/FI

- ESS/MSS
- Other SAP modules and third-party applications
- Troubleshoot SAP HR/Payroll issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Support SAP HCM tools and technologies such as LSMW, Workflow, and SAP Portal.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and customers to understand payroll processes and requirements.
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with technical/functional teams.
- Support third-party integrations with SAP HCM.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate should have 8 10 years of SAP HCM experience , with robust expertise in SAP Payroll configuration and implementation , good knowledge of Time Management, Schema/PCR, Personnel Administration , and SAP integration points.
