We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) processes, warehouse management solutions, functional design, configuration, implementation, and support. The role will be responsible for understanding business requirements, designing and implementing SAP EWM solutions, optimizing warehouse processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a subject matter expert in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) functional processes.

Lead the functional design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP EWM solutions.

Conduct workshops and gather detailed business requirements from stakeholders.

Analyze warehouse processes and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Collaborate closely with development teams and cross-functional teams to deliver SAP EWM solutions.

Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions aligned with SAP best practices.

Work on integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Analyze and optimize warehouse processes to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and automation.

Lead or support requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Oversee system testing, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, and business validation.

Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot SAP EWM functional issues.

Ensure compliance with organizational standards and governance for SAP EWM processes.

Drive process improvements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives within warehouse operations.

Provide functional guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to junior team members and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).

Experience in SAP EWM functional design, configuration, implementation, testing, and support.

Good understanding of end-to-end warehouse management processes.

Experience in requirement gathering, business process analysis, gap analysis, and solution design.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.





Strong understanding of SAP EWM functionalities and warehouse process optimization.

Experience in SIT, UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and post-go-live support.

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work across business and technical teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Experience working in global or complex SAP environments is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

SAP EWM implementation and rollout experience.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA EWM is preferred.

Exposure to warehouse process automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience in SAP EWM integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

Understanding of SAP EWM technical concepts and ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams.

Experience in mentoring junior consultants and leading functional teams.

Strong knowledge of SAP EWM best practices and process standardization.

Job Descripiton:

We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Technical professional with robust expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) technical design, development, customization, integration, troubleshooting, and support. The role will be responsible for designing and developing EWM technical solutions, supporting warehouse management processes, integrating EWM with SAP and external systems, and providing technical guidance across implementation and support engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, customize, and support SAP EWM technical solutions based on business requirements.

Collaborate with functional teams to understand warehouse management processes and translate requirements into technical specifications.

Customize and enhance SAP EWM modules, including interfaces, workflows, reports, and technical objects.

Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of complex SAP EWM issues.

Develop and maintain EWM-related objects such as BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, enhancements, and custom developments.





Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules and external systems.

Participate in SAP EWM system upgrades, patches, performance tuning, and technical improvement activities.

Prepare technical specifications, development documentation, and technical deliverables.

Support unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.

Lead technical design sessions and provide expert guidance on SAP EWM technical solutions.

Manage end-to-end implementation of EWM technical components and ensure timely delivery.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Collaborate with Basis and infrastructure teams to ensure system performance, stability, and availability.

Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to junior team members and support teams.

Stay updated with the latest SAP EWM technical advancements and recommend improvements.

Support technical estimation, project planning, and compliance with organizational and SAP standards.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Strong hands-on experience in SAP EWM Technical.

Strong experience in SAP EWM technical design, development, customization, and support.

Experience in BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, enhancements, reports, workflows, and interfaces.

Experience in technical troubleshooting, debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution.

Strong understanding of SAP EWM integration with other SAP modules and external systems.

Experience in technical specifications, development, testing, implementation, and production support.

Experience working with cross-functional teams including SAP EWM Functional, Basis, infrastructure, and business teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Experience working in complex SAP EWM environments is preferred.
