About the Role: We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with strong SAP HCM/HR domain knowledge to develop, enhance, maintain, and support SAP solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in ABAP development along with a good understanding of SAP HCM processes and HR business requirements.

The candidate will work closely with HR, functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate HR requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, forms, and enhancements.

Work on SAP HCM/HR-related development and support requirements.

Understand HR business processes such as Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management, Payroll, and Employee Master Data.

Develop and maintain Reports, ALV, BAPIs, BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancements, RFCs, IDocs, and Interfaces.

Work with SAP HCM infotypes, HR master data, and organizational structures.

Develop and support integrations between SAP HCM and third-party systems.

Work on data extraction, migration, validation, and transformation requirements.

Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and provide timely technical solutions.

Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and prepare technical specifications.

Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.

Participate in requirement gathering, estimation, development, deployment, and post-production support.





Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, coding guidelines, security requirements, and documentation practices.

Provide technical support during SAP upgrades, patches, enhancements, and system changes.

Required Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

Valuable knowledge of

ABAP Reports and ALV

DDIC – Tables, Structures, Data Elements, Domains

BAPI, BAdI, User Exits and Enhancements

RFC and IDoc

Interfaces and integration

Smart Forms / SAPscript / Adobe Forms

Debugging and performance tuning

Open SQL

Experience working with SAP HCM/HR modules.

Good understanding of SAP HCM infotypes and HR master data.

Knowledge of SAP Payroll and Time Management will be an advantage.

Exposure to ABAP Objects / Object-Oriented ABAP.

Knowledge of S/4HANA and ABAP on HANA is preferred.

Exposure to Fiori, OData, CDS Views, or SAP integration technologies will be an added advantage.
