Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Release Engineer / Release Manager with robust hands-on experience in Salesforce deployments, release management, CI/CD, and DevOps practices . The ideal candidate will manage Salesforce releases across multiple environments and work closely with Salesforce developers, architects, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end Salesforce release management across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
- Plan and coordinate Salesforce releases, deployment schedules, and release calendars.
- Perform and support deployments using Salesforce CLI, Metadata API, Change Sets, ANT, or DevOps tools .
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments.
- Manage source control using Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket .
- Work with Salesforce development teams to package and promote code/configuration between environments.
- Perform deployment validation, troubleshooting, rollback planning, and post-release verification.
- Coordinate with QA teams for test execution, regression testing, and UAT readiness.
- Manage Salesforce metadata including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets, Objects, Reports, and Custom Metadata .
- Implement and maintain Salesforce DevOps/release best practices.
- Monitor deployment failures and resolve issues related to dependencies,



metadata conflicts, and environment inconsistencies.
- Maintain release documentation, deployment checklists, and audit trails.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Developers, QA, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
- Support production deployments and participate in scheduled release activities when required.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Salesforce/SFDC , with strong exposure to release management.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment and release processes .
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce DX (SFDX) and Salesforce CLI .
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines .
- Experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Copado, Gearset, or Flosum .
- Positive understanding of Salesforce Apex, LWC, Flows, Profiles, Permission Sets, Objects, and Metadata .
- Experience managing multiple Salesforce environments and deployment dependencies.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, version control, branching, merging, and release strategies .
- Experience with deployment troubleshooting and rollback procedures.
- Good understanding of Salesforce security and environment management.

Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud experience.
- Experience with Copado or Gearset .
- Salesforce DevOps Center experience.
- Knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, or other ITSM/change-management tools .
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform Developer certification.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
