Job Title: Salesforce DevOps Engineer P2 – Azure DevOps, SFDX & Jenkins

Location: Hyderabad, PAN India

Experience: 3 - 5 Years

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners

Role Summary

We are looking for a Salesforce DevOps Engineer P2 with 3 to 5 years of experience to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce delivery. The role requires hands-on expertise in Azure DevOps, SFDX, and Jenkins, along with strong knowledge of Salesforce release management, branching strategies, and deployment automation.

The candidate will work closely with Salesforce Developers, QA, and Product teams to ensure fast, reliable, secure, and standardized releases across multiple environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Azure DevOps and/or Jenkins.
- Implement automated deployments using SFDX CLI, including metadata packaging, validation, and promotions across environments.
- Define and enforce branching strategies such as GitFlow and Trunk-Based Development.
- Support code integration best practices, including branching, merging, pull requests, and code reviews.
- Automate build, test, code scanning, and deployment workflows for Salesforce Apex, LWC, and metadata.
- Manage workplace strategies across DEV, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production.
- Configure and manage deployment approvals, gates, and release controls.
- Implement deployment controls including change validation, rollback plans, versioning, and audit logging.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines with quality and security checks such as static code analysis, test coverage validation, and vulnerability scanning.
- Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot deployment failures,



merge conflicts, permission issues, and tooling gaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release cadence and reduce deployment risks through automation and standardization.
- Maintain technical documentation for pipeline setup, release processes, deployment procedures, and DevOps runbooks.

Mandatory Skills – Must Have Salesforce DevOps & Release Management

- 3 to 5 years of overall experience in Salesforce delivery automation and release management.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce deployment processes and DevOps practices.

Azure DevOps

- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Repos and Pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure Boards and Artifacts is an added advantage.

SFDX

- Strong experience with SFDX CLI.
- Hands-on experience with source tracking and Salesforce DX workflows.
- Knowledge of Scratch Orgs and packaging concepts is preferred.

Jenkins

- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Knowledge of declarative and scripted pipelines.
- Experience managing Jenkins agents, credentials, plugins, and pipeline configurations.

Git / Version Control

- Strong understanding of branching and merging strategies.
- Hands-on experience with pull requests, code reviews, and conflict resolution.

Salesforce Deployment

- Good understanding of Salesforce metadata and deployment mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Change Sets and Salesforce DX source format.
- Experience with org-to-org deployments.

Scripting

- Basic scripting skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python to automate repeatable DevOps tasks.
