JOB TITLE: Sales Representative (Japanese Language)

CTC: ₹60,000 to 75,000 per month, based on experience and language proficiency, with performance-based revision after probation

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Associate/Executive who can interact with clients, understand their requirements, and build strong relationships. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to generate and close sales opportunities.

This is an experienced, international-facing position handling enquiries and accounts across our US and UK markets, alongside Japanese-speaking clients. Sales maturity, cross-cultural communication, and language fluency matter equally here.

MANDATORY – NON-NEGOTIABLE

Applications will only be considered if all three criteria are met.





● Sales experience — minimum 3+ years in a direct sales, inside sales, or business development role,

with a demonstrable record of meeting targets.

● International client experience (US / UK markets) — proven experience selling to and managing clients in the US and/or UK, including their business etiquette, time zones, and communication style.

● Japanese language proficiency — professional working proficiency in Japanese – spoken and written. JLPT N3 or above preferred; assessed on live conversation and written correspondence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interact with prospective and existing clients through calls, meetings, and emails

Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products/services

Build and maintain long-term client relationships

Follow up on leads and convert them into sales

Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery

REQUIREMENTS

3+ years of sales experience — mandatory

International client experience across the US / UK markets — mandatory

Professional proficiency in Japanese, spoken and written — mandatory

Bachelor's degree in any discipline

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities

Basic knowledge of MS Office / CRM tools

Ability to handle client queries and objections professionally

Self-motivated and target-oriented

PREFERRED SKILLS

JLPT N3 or above certification

Experience in e-commerce, print, events, or B2B product sales

Prior experience working with Japanese clients or in a Japanese business setting

Fluency in English and the local language

Presentation and negotiation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
