We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Engineer with a Diploma in Civil Engineering to join our growing construction business in Bengaluru.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business, developing customer relationships, managing sales opportunities, and driving sales of construction products and solutions. The role involves regular interaction with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and project owners.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
- Visit construction sites, contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and project owners to generate sales.
- Generate leads, follow up on enquiries, and convert prospects into customers.
- Prepare and submit quotations, technical proposals, and commercial offers.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat business.
- Coordinate with technical, operations, and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming construction projects.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, enquiries, and project status in the CRM.
- Participate in exhibitions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations when required.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and support timely collection of receivables.

Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience in the construction industry.
- Experience in selling construction materials,



waterproofing products, flooring systems, construction chemicals, structural solutions, building materials, or related products is preferred.
- Fresh Diploma holders with excellent communication skills and a strong sales aptitude may also be considered.

Required Skills
- Good understanding of construction practices and building materials.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and result-driven.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to prepare quotations and commercial proposals.
- Willingness to travel to construction sites and meet customers.
- Valid two-wheeler driving licence is preferred.
- Fluency in English and Kannada is essential.
- Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
