Role Description The Sales Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based at the Clay by Lingaraj Granites showroom in Bhubaneswar.

The Sales

Associate will welcome customers, understand their renovation and decor needs, and provide product recommendations across marbles, granites, tiles, bath ware, lighting, flooring, and other offerings. Daily responsibilities include explaining product features and benefits, preparing quotes, coordinating with the design and operations teams, and ensuring accurate order processing and follow-up. The role involves maintaining showroom displays,



keeping product information up to date, and supporting promotional activities and events.

The Sales

Associate is expected to contribute to sales targets while delivering a high-quality, personalized customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.

- Sales aptitude in retail or showroom environments, preferably in home decor, building materials, or interior design products.

- Good communication skills in English and local languages, with clear, professional presentation and interpersonal skills.

- Basic numerical and computer skills for handling quotations, billing, inventory checks, and CRM or POS systems.

- Interest in interior design, architecture, or home styling; ability to learn product specifications and design trends quickly.

- Robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple customer interactions efficiently.

- Ability to work on-site full time, including weekends and peak business hours as required.

- Higher secondary education or graduate degree preferred; prior experience in sales or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
