JNK Chemdist Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Application & Sales Engineer to strengthen our Application Engineering and Technical Sales team.

This role is ideal for a Chemical Engineer who combines solid process engineering knowledge with commercial and client-facing capabilities. The position involves managing the complete sales cycle, supporting process engineering activities, and driving business growth in the chemical and petrochemical industries.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Commercial

Preparing detailed techno-commercial proposals and ensuring timely follow-ups to convert enquiries into orders

Releasing Sales Orders (SO) and coordinating with purchase, accounts, production, and quality teams for timely project execution

Monitoring payment status and supporting collection activities

Conducting client meetings for technical discussions, commercial negotiations, and order finalization

Generating new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry contacts

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers

Managing sales pipelines and driving revenue growth

Application & Process Engineering

Performing line sizing and hydraulic calculations for process and piping systems

Carrying out heat and mass balance calculations

Sizing process equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, and separators

Calculating utility requirements including steam, cooling water, power, and fuel consumption

Selecting instrumentation such as control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and safety devices

Preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs;),



and plant layouts

Performing pump hydraulic calculations and supporting pump selection activities

Estimation & Project Support

Preparing project cost estimates and bid documents

Reviewing technical specifications, enquiry documents, and client datasheets

Coordinating with vendors and internal teams to prepare competitive techno-commercial offers

Supporting proposal development and project execution activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering

Experience

3-10 years in:

– Chemical Industry

– Petrochemical Industry

– Process Engineering

– Technical Sales / Application Engineering

Technical Skills

Process equipment sizing

Heat & mass balance calculations

Hydraulic calculations and pump selection

Instrumentation selection

PFD and P&ID; preparation

Cost estimation and bid preparation

Soft Skills

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Client relationship management

Problem-solving mindset

Self-driven and target-oriented approach

- Excellent coordination and multitasking abilities
