Role Description The Sales Intern role is an on-site position based in Kolkata. The intern will support the growth team by driving direct lead generation, specifically reaching out to local, ops-heavy businesses to identify operational friction. Initiating clear conversations to understand their workflows, and updating tracking tools.

You will act as the first point of contact, actively listening to understand the client's business needs before passing qualified leads to our engineering team.



This role offers a stipend of ₹5,000/month plus performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

- Candidates must possess excellent conversational communication skills, with mandatory fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali to interact effectively with local prospects.
- An honest, direct, and practical approach to communication, avoiding overly promotional or gimmicky sales pitches.
- Candidates should possess foundational sales skills and an interest in B2B lead generation to support pipeline development.
- Comfort with using productivity tools, specifically working through spreadsheets to systematically track outreach and manage contacts.
- Basic understanding of how businesses operate and a willingness to learn how software can simplify workflows.
- Pursuing or having completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are expected.
