Experience

2–4 Years (Preferably in Plant , Manufacturing, Engineering, Chemical, Water Treatment, Cooling Tower, EPC, Process Industries, or Heavy Engineering)

Qualification

- Diploma/Certificate in Industrial Safety from a recognized institution, as applicable to statutory requirements.
- Basic knowledge of the Factories Act, Occupational Health & Safety, Fire Safety, and Industrial Safety Practices.

Job Summary

Safety Officer will support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across the manufacturing facility. The role involves assisting in safety inspections, promoting secure work practices, conducting awareness programs, maintaining statutory records, and ensuring compliance with company safety standards and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in implementing safety policies and procedures across the plant.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe conditions.
- Support hazard identification and basic risk assessment activities.
- Ensure employees and contractors use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and employee safety awareness sessions.




- Assist in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations and maintain related records.
- Support compliance with the Factories Act, Haryana Factory Rules, and company safety requirements.
- Maintain safety registers, inspection reports, and statutory documentation.
- Monitor housekeeping standards and safe working practices on the shop floor.
- Assist during fire drills, mock drills, emergency response activities, and first-aid preparedness.
- Coordinate with departmental teams to improve workplace safety and reduce risks.
- Report safety observations and recommend corrective actions to the reporting manager.

Key Skills Required
