Role & responsibilities
1. Responsible for having an effective monitoring of workplace safety program and safety culture at all locations pan India
2. Ensure Contractor Safety Management implementation
3. Ensure Safety & Statutory requirements compliance timely as per the requirements of Factory / Construction safety rules
4. Ensure timely reply and compliance to the correspondence letters internal & external
5. Give daily safety report to the Head of Plant & monthly report to corporate
6. Monthly Safety activity Report preparation and submission
7. Carrying out Safety Mock Drills & trainings to workers through contractor
8. Frequent site inspections and safety audits plus report making
9. Ensure that safety induction for employees/workers is conducted/completed as per
guidelines
1. Resolve site safety issues with the contractors & workers
2. Provide tool box talk / training at site to workers on safety issues as per requirement
Preferred candidate profile Responsible for execution, implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies,
programs and provide guidance to line engineers / contractors on strategies for meeting Safety goals and compliances in consultation with plant head and corporate safety team.
Educational Background:
- Education- BE / Graduate + diploma in Industrial Safety from any state board of technical education
- 10-15 years of related experience in safety & fire services
Work Experience: (Experience in both Solar and Wind projects is desired & preferred)
- Must have at least 10-15 years of experience in handling construction safety at site locations
If applying for a wind site position, you should have a turbine climbing certificate and relevant experience. For a solar site position, you should have knowledge and experience in substation operations and maintenance.
