Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Engineer to ensure a safe working environment at construction/project sites. The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with applicable safety standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures at project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Ensure compliance with safety rules, regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for workers.
- Monitor the proper use of PPE and other safety equipment.
- Prepare and maintain safety reports, inspection records, and documentation.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
- Identify risks and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, supervisors, and workers regarding safety requirements.
- Monitor work permits and ensure protected work practices are followed.
- Conduct emergency preparedness and safety drills as required.
- Ensure housekeeping and safe working conditions at the project site.




- Assist in implementing emergency response and fire safety procedures.
- Report safety violations and follow up on corrective actions.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices.
- Knowledge of PPE, Risk Assessment, Safety Audits, Toolbox Talks, and Permit to Work.
- Knowledge of fire safety and emergency procedures.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prepare safety reports and maintain documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with site teams, contractors, and workers.

Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering, or relevant field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in construction/project site safety.
- Candidates with NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification will be preferred.
- Experience in the Real Estate / Construction industry will be an advantage.
