We're Hiring: Rotating Equipment Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer to provide technical leadership across the full equipment lifecycle — from concept and selection through startup, troubleshooting, and reliability improvement. This role directly contributes to safe, efficient operations in a complex process facility.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support all phases of rotating equipment engineering: concept development, scoping, equipment selection, manufacturing, technical audit, final acceptance, startup, troubleshooting, and failure analysis.
- Prepare, review, and approve machinery and component purchase specifications, as well as engineering, operating, maintenance, and reliability standards, policies, and procedures.
- Provide technical review and approval of vendor calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
- Drive resolution of operational and reliability issues during startup and normal plant operations.
- Serve as a technical resource by answering inquiries, making sound recommendations, improving design tools, and developing design procedures.
- Spearhead resolution of quality issues during equipment manufacturing; witness and approve factory acceptance tests to ensure compliance with internal engineering standards and specifications.




- Ensure work practices, applications, data, and tools are effective and effective — including condition monitoring, machinery performance monitoring, routine and turnaround machinery work scope development, and Engineering Work Order development.
- Lead machinery initiatives and technical studies aimed at continuously improving plant safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline)
- 5–7 years of industry experience working as a Machinery or Rotating Equipment Engineer
- Proficient in interpreting engineering manuals, codes, and technical drawings, and performing engineering calculations

Preferred

- Demonstrated hands-on experience with rotating equipment, including field troubleshooting, equipment selection & specification, vibration analysis, and failure mechanisms
- Background in complex process facilities (e.g., refinery, petrochemical, LNG, or similar)
