Are you an accomplished Insurance Risk & Compliance professional with experience in the US or UK insurance market ?

We are looking for a senior leader to shape, implement, and oversee the organization’s enterprise risk management, compliance, governance, and internal-control framework . This is an opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, strengthen risk culture, and drive meaningful change across the business.

What You’ll Lead

- Development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of operational, financial, regulatory, conduct, and reputational risks
- Risk assessments, scenario analysis, stress testing, and risk-event reporting
- Risk registers, mitigation plans, control frameworks, and Key Risk Indicators
- Compliance with applicable US or UK insurance regulations
- Compliance monitoring, internal audits, regulatory-change management, and control implementation
- Development of risk, compliance, governance, and internal-control policies
- Reporting to senior management, risk committees, audit committees, and the Board
- Risk-based advice, constructive challenge, and guidance to senior stakeholders
- Leadership, mentoring,



and development of risk and compliance professionals
- Ongoing evolution of the organization’s risk appetite and governance frameworks

What We’re Looking For ✅ 12–16+ years of experience in Insurance Risk, Compliance, or Audit

✅ Robust hands-on expertise in insurance risk and regulatory compliance

✅ Mandatory experience within the US or UK insurance market

✅ Strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management

✅ Knowledge of ISO 31000, COSO ERM, and/or IRM Risk Management Standards

✅ Good understanding of Conduct Risk obligations

✅ Experience delivering risk-management transformation or change programs

✅ Excellent stakeholder management, report writing, presentation, and influencing skills

✅ Degree qualification or a relevant professional certification, such as IRM

✅ Exposure to the Life & Pensions outsourcing business model will be an advantage

⚠️ Important Eligibility Requirement

This is an Insurance Risk & Compliance position—not an IT Risk, Cyber Risk, Information Security, or Technology Risk role.

Prior insurance experience in the US or UK is mandatory. Candidates whose experience is limited to IT, cyber, technology risk, non-insurance sectors, or domestic insurance markets without relevant US/UK exposure may not be considered.
