An apprenticeship is an on-the-job training program designed to help apprentices develop practical skills and achieve a nationally recognized standard. The program provides apprentices with hands-on work experience while developing key skills such as:

1. Program Framework

Criteria Details Program Duration 6 Months - 12 Months

Eligibility 10th and 12th Completed 6 Months / Graduate Freshers 12 Months Training Type Paid Apprenticeship with On-the-Job Training Working Hours 9 Hours per Day, including 1-Hour Break Working Days 5 Days per Week Assessment Online Assessment prior to completion of the apprenticeship Certification Government-recognized & Starbucks co-branded certificate upon successful completion

1. Key Responsibilities During On-the-Job Training (OJT)

Customer Service & Store Experience
- Welcome and connect with every customer, creating a warm and welcoming store experience.
- Anticipate customer and store needs by observing the environment and customer cues.
- Appropriately suggest products to customers to enhance their overall experience.
- Demonstrate the Just Say Yes” approach by understanding and addressing customer needs.
- Deliver legendary customer service with a “Customer Comes First” attitude.

Beverage & Food Quality




- Prepare and serve quality beverages, whole bean coffee, and food products consistently.
- Follow all prescribed recipe, quality, and presentation standards.
- Maintain consistency in product quality and customer experience.

Store Operations & Teamwork
- Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge while promoting the culture, values, and mission of Tata Starbucks.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events.
- Follow operational standards and contribute positively to the store team.
- Communicate relevant information to the manager to help the team respond effectively to customer and store needs.
- Contribute towards creating the “Third Place” environment for customers during every shift.
