Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Retail Sales Executive role based in Durgapur.

The Retail Sales

Executive will greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable ethnic wear and accessories that align with the brand’s vintage and contemporary style. Typical responsibilities include managing the sales floor, maintaining visual merchandising standards, handling billing and cash transactions, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked. The role also involves explaining product features and fabric details, managing exchanges and returns, and delivering consistent, high-quality customer service.

Executive will work closely with the store team to meet sales targets and support promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage courteously and professionally with diverse customers.
- Sales and retail operations abilities, including upselling, cross-selling, handling POS systems, and managing cash and billing accurately.
- Knowledge or interest in ethnic fashion, fabrics, and trends, with the capability to guide customers on styling and product selection.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, including explicit spoken English and local language proficiency, active listening, and team collaboration.
- Basic organizational and problem-solving skills to manage stock, address customer concerns, and support smooth store functioning.
- Prior experience in retail or apparel sales is preferred but not mandatory; freshers with a strong customer focus are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as per store requirements.
- Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or fashion-related training is an advantage.
