Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, guest-focused and energetic All-Day Dining Restaurant Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the resort’s all-day dining restaurant. The role is responsible for delivering consistently high standards of food and beverage service across breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner, while ensuring guest satisfaction, team productivity, operational efficiency and achievement of revenue and cost targets.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in luxury/upscale resort or hotel operations, excellent knowledge of restaurant service standards, and the ability to lead a multicultural team in a high-volume setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Restaurant Operations

- Oversee the complete daily operation of the all-day dining restaurant.
- Ensure smooth and efficient service during breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner.
- Plan and supervise restaurant opening, service and closing procedures.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, service and cleanliness.
- Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, Stewarding, Front Office, Housekeeping and other departments.
- Ensure adequate staffing and effective deployment of team members during peak periods.
- Conduct regular briefings and communicate daily operational requirements to the team.

2. Guest Experience

- Personally welcome and interact with guests to create a warm and memorable dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal period.
- Handle guest complaints, special requests and service recovery professionally and promptly.




- Maintain awareness of VIPs, repeat guests, special occasions, dietary requirements and guest preferences.
- Collect guest feedback and implement improvements wherever required.
- Ensure the restaurant experience reflects the standards and positioning of Mountain Shadows Resort.

3. Team Leadership & Development

- Lead, motivate and supervise the restaurant service team.
- Prepare duty rosters and allocate responsibilities according to business levels.
- Conduct daily pre-shift briefings and regular training sessions.
- Coach team members on service etiquette, menu knowledge, upselling and guest handling.
- Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Support recruitment, induction and training of new employees.
- Maintain discipline, grooming and skilled conduct within the team.

4. Food & Beverage Cost Control

- Monitor food and beverage costs and minimize wastage.
- Control breakage, pilferage and unnecessary consumption.
- Monitor portion control and buffet consumption in coordination with the culinary team.
- Assist in achieving departmental revenue and profitability targets.
- Review daily sales reports and identify opportunities to improve revenue.




- Drive effective upselling of beverages, premium items and special dining experiences.

5. Buffet & All-Day Dining Management

- Ensure excellent presentation and replenishment of breakfast and buffet operations.
- Coordinate with the culinary team regarding buffet setup, menu changes and replenishment.
- Monitor buffet temperature, hygiene, presentation and availability.
- Ensure smooth guest flow during high-occupancy breakfast and dinner periods.
- Maintain appropriate mise-en-place and service readiness throughout each meal period.

6. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Conduct regular checks of restaurant areas, service stations, equipment and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and statutory requirements.
- Maintain proper records, checklists and operational documentation.
- Immediately report safety hazards, equipment issues or operational concerns to the concerned department.

7. Inventory & Controls

- Monitor restaurant operating supplies, crockery, cutlery, glassware, linen and other service equipment.
- Coordinate with stores and purchase departments for adequate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory and ensure proper control of restaurant assets.
- Reduce breakage and maintain equipment in good working condition.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
