Why This Role
Most entry-level research jobs bury you in data entry for a brand name. This one puts your work in front of governments.
Nueconomy advises investment promotion agencies and economic development organisations across the world — the teams deciding where billions in foreign investment lands and how nations compete for it. For 18+ years, our analysis has shaped how governments attract investment and how companies choose where to expand. No layers, no overhead: what you produce goes directly to the client.
What You'll Own
From day one, you'll have a patch — assigned regions where you're expected to become the person in the room who knows what's moving. You will:
- Track greenfield investment and corporate expansion activity globally, and own the intelligence on your regions
- Build the data behind client deliverables and our internal intelligence platforms — company, industry, trade, and macro
- Contribute to quarterly investment trend reports and briefings read by government and institutional clients
- Work directly with senior consultants on live mandates — not through three layers of managers
Who Thrives Here
- Sharp analytical instincts and a degree in economics, finance, commerce, or international business
- Hands-on secondary research skills; exposure to FDI or investment trends is a plus
- Writing that's transparent enough to go straight to a client — because it will
- Precision and reliability under real deadlines
The Fine Print — And We Mean It This is an entry-level role: fresh graduates or up to two years of experience (a strong six-month internship in research, consulting, economics, or finance counts). If you have more, this isn't your role The scope and compensation are honest about what it is, and so are we.
- Location: HSR Layout, Bengaluru — onsite, five days a week
- Start: Immediate preferred
- Background verification required
