Job Title

- Release & Deployment Manager – Implementation Location: Bangalore / Ahmedabad - Remote Shift: 3pm Onwards (US Overlap) / Variable Experience: 8+ Years Reporting To: Director of Program Management

Role Purpose : The Release Manager is accountable for end-to-end planning, orchestration, governance, and execution of implementation releases across multiple customer implementations and product lines. This role operates in a high-intensity, multi-version, compliance-driven environment, where deployment excellence, operational rigor, and risk mitigation are critical to business success. The role serves as the single point of accountability for production releases, ensuring predictable, secure, and audit-ready deployments across customer environments.

Responsibilities

Release Strategy & Planning

- Own & manage enterprise release calendar, release playbooks across implementation projects/programs & shared services for multiple product lines.
- Define and enforce release models & governance (major, minor, hotfix, cherry-pick) aligned to customer and regulatory needs.
- Balance platform evolution with customer-specific deployment constraints. Release Execution & Governance
- Lead release readiness reviews, Go/No-Go decisions, and post-release validations.
- Coordinate & execute deployments across customer engagements & Workstreams and other enabler teams.
- Managing deployments of AI/ML-powered products & features as part of SaaS releases.
- Coordinate dual-track releases (application code + AI model artifacts).
- Ensure all releases meet entry/exit criteria, validation, rollback, and support readiness standards.
- Ensure pipelines, deployment runbooks, rollback strategies, and validation plans are defined, tested, and executed.
- Oversee production deployments, hypercare, and transition to production support. Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements (HIPAA,



SOC2, internal controls).
- Maintain complete change management documentation, deployment evidence, approvals, and audit trails.
- Proactively identify deployment risks and drive mitigation actions. Environment & Version Management
- Manage multi-version, multi-customer environments with minimal disruption.
- Govern cherry-pick releases and back-porting strategies to reduce technical and operational debt. 2026-01.1.0
- Drive standardization to progressively reduce release fragmentation. Tooling, Automation & Engineering Alignment
- Drive disciplined use of Azure DevOps (Boards, Pipelines, Repos) for release tracking and deployment execution.
- Leverage ALM/DevOps tools (ADO, Jira, CI/CD pipelines) for release tracking and transparency.
- Partner with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines, automation coverage, and deployment reliability.
- Ensure deployments meet engineering quality, performance, security, and operability standards.

Stakeholder Communication

- Act as the primary interface for release status, risks, and deployment outcomes.
- Provide executive-level dashboards and post-release summaries.
- Coordinate closely with Implementation Leadership, Product, Customer Success, and Production Support teams.

Experience

- 10+ years of industry experience in Release Management, Deployment Management, DevOps, or Technical Program Delivery.
- Proven experience managing customer-facing SaaS deployments in complex environments.
- Strong exposure to regulated domains, preferably Healthcare or Life Sciences.





Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or Information Technology / Computer Applications

Technology Stack & Tools (Mandatory)

- Azure DevOps – Boards, Pipelines, Repos
- Git – branching, merging, version control strategies
- CI/CD Pipelines – Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, or equivalent
- Cloud Platforms – Azure (preferred) or AWS
- Microservices-based architectures and API deployments
- Deployment automation and rollback mechanisms
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools
