Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based all over Tamil Nadu.

The Relationship

Manager will focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, agents, and channel partners to drive health insurance business growth. Daily responsibilities include explaining insurance products and benefits, assisting customers with policy selection and renewal, and providing proactive support for claims and service-related queries.



The role involves liaising with branch and operations teams, ensuring timely documentation and policy issuance, and supporting marketing and sales activities in the local market.

The Relationship

Manager is expected to uphold high standards of customer experience and contribute to branch targets through effective engagement and follow-up.

Qualifications

- Customer relationship and service orientation, with the ability to understand needs and provide transparent, helpful guidance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact confidently with customers, agents, and internal teams.
- Sales and negotiation abilities, with a focus on meeting targets ethically and responsibly.
- Basic knowledge of insurance or financial services, with willingness to learn Star Health products and processes.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customer accounts and follow-ups efficiently.
- Proficiency in local language and working knowledge of English; basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and prior experience in insurance, banking, or customer-facing roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Salem, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with branch teams.
