Job Summary :

As a React JS Web Developer/Lead , you will be responsible for designing and developing dynamic web applications using React.js . You will work on both the client-side and front-end architecture, ensuring a seamless, responsive, and high-performance user experience. As a Lead , you will provide technical leadership to a team of developers, mentor junior team members, and ensure that best practices in development, testing, and deployment are followed.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Front-End Development :

- Design, develop, and implement front-end architecture using React.js to create scalable and maintainable web applications.

- Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them efficiently.

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Develop and maintain responsive and interactive user interfaces using React.js , Redux , and other front-end technologies.

2. Project Leadership (For Lead Role):

- Lead a team of developers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and code reviews to ensure high-quality and efficient work.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and back-end engineers, to deliver high-impact features.

- Help define the technical roadmap, project timelines, and feature specifications.

- Take ownership of major technical decisions and implement best practices in front-end development.

- Ensure the team follows Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and maintain efficient development workflows.

3. Integration and API Communication :

- Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic via RESTful APIs and GraphQL .

- Work with the back-end team to optimize and maintain data flow between the front-end and back-end.

- Manage and monitor API calls to ensure performance and reliability of the application.

4. Code Quality and Best Practices :





- Implement and maintain coding standards, development workflows, and best practices (e.g., modularization, code splitting, and lazy loading).

- Conduct code reviews and pair programming sessions to maintain quality code and encourage knowledge sharing among the team.

- Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the application is robust and reliable.

- Use version control systems (e.g., Git ) and ensure proper branching, merging, and deployment strategies.

5. Performance Optimization :

- Identify bottlenecks and improve application performance, including optimizing rendering, minimizing load times, and enhancing user experience.

- Monitor and resolve performance issues related to React components, state management, and rendering behavior.

- Use performance testing tools and identify ways to optimize both the front-end and back-end systems.

6. Continuous Improvement :

- Stay up-to-date with the latest React.js trends, libraries, and tools.

- Introduce new technologies or methodologies that could enhance the quality, performance, or efficiency of the team€™s development process.

- Participate in knowledge sharing, training, and upskilling initiatives for junior developers.

7. Collaboration and Communication :

- Work closely with the UX/UI team to ensure seamless integration of design elements and to enhance the user experience.

- Communicate technical decisions effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Provide timely updates on project status and escalate potential blockers in a transparent manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications :





- Education : Bachelor€™s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Experience :

- Proven experience as a React.js Developer or Front-End Web Developer .

- Strong proficiency in React.js , JavaScript , and contemporary JavaScript (ES6+) features.

- Extensive experience with Redux , React Router , and state management patterns.

- Solid experience with HTML5 , CSS3 , SASS , LESS , and responsive design frameworks.

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for integration with back-end systems.

- Experience in optimizing front-end applications for speed and scalability.

- Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Webpack , Babel ), testing frameworks (e.g., Jest , Mocha ), and version control tools (e.g., Git ).

For Lead Role :

- Leadership Experience : At least 2-3 years of experience leading development teams, mentoring junior developers, and making technical decisions.

- Project Management : Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum , Kanban ), sprint planning, and estimation.

- Communication : Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and provide technical direction.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with TypeScript and its integration with React.

- Experience with front-end frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby for server-side rendering and static site generation.

- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins , GitLab CI , Travis CI ).

- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS , Azure , Google Cloud ).

- Experience with UI component libraries such as Material-UI or Ant Design .
