JOB PURPOSE The React Developer (Front-End React Developer) is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing modern web applications using React and related technologies. The role involves building scalable, accessible, high-performance user interfaces while collaborating closely with Creative, UX, Business, QA, DevOps, and Technology teams.

The React Developer owns the implementation of front-end solutions, contributes to architectural decisions, provides effort estimations, and ensures adherence to engineering best practices, security standards, and modern development methodologies.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with React, TypeScript, up-to-date JavaScript frameworks, API integrations, cloud-based deployment environments, and AI-assisted development workflows.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Application Development

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, TypeScript, Next.js, and related front-end technologies.

• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components using component-driven development principles.

• Implement responsive, mobile-first, and accessible user experiences aligned with UX/UI designs.

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and headless CMS integrations.

Architecture & Engineering





• Follow established architectural patterns and contribute to front-end technical design discussions.

• Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, maintainability, and security.

• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices across the team.

• Collaborate with technical leads to define and implement front-end standards.

Quality & Performance

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex application issues.

• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.

• Optimize Core Web Vitals, page load performance, rendering efficiency, and application accessibility.

Collaboration

• Work closely with Design, UX, Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Back-End Developers.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

• Provide accurate effort estimations and proactively communicate project risks and dependencies.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

• Maintain technical documentation and development standards.

• Stay current with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to tools, frameworks, and development processes.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity and code quality.

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent.

• Experience working in digital agencies or large enterprise environments.

• Experience with Design Systems and component libraries.

• Knowledge of Micro-Frontend architecture.

• Familiarity with Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR).

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, New Relic, or Sentry.
