This is a hands-on role combining technical training with renewable energy project work. The candidate will spend time both delivering Solar/Renewable Energy training and supporting real-world project activities.

Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Solar & Renewable Energy Technical Trainer who can deliver practical and technical training while also supporting our ongoing renewable energy projects.

This is not a training-only role. The selected candidate will be involved in both training activities and day-to-day project work, including site visits, technical support, installation/commissioning support, documentation and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Training

- Conduct technical and practical training on Solar PV and other Renewable Energy technologies.
- Conduct classroom/Online, laboratory and hands-on practical sessions.
- Prepare training material, presentations, practical exercises and demonstrations.
- Explain solar PV systems, components, installation, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Guide trainees during practical work and projects.
- Conduct basic assessments and evaluate trainee performance.

Project Work

- Support day-to-day activities related to solar and renewable energy projects.
- Participate in site visits, surveys and basic technical assessments.
- Support solar installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
- Coordinate with project teams, technicians, vendors and other stakeholders as required.




- Assist with basic system calculations, equipment selection, BOQs and technical documentation.
- Prepare project updates, reports, checklists and other required documentation.
- Visit project sites whenever required and provide hands-on technical support.

General Responsibilities

- Stay updated with current developments and technologies in solar and renewable energy.
- Ensure training and project activities are carried out safely and professionally.
- Support other technical activities related to renewable energy as required.

Profile

- Diploma/Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Practical knowledge of Solar PV systems is required.
- Prior experience in solar/renewable energy, technical training, installation, O&M; or project work will be preferred.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Should be comfortable with both training people and working hands-on at project sites.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a combination of teaching, practical technical work and renewable energy projects. A candidate who has experience as a Solar Trainer, Solar Engineer, Renewable Energy Technician, Project Engineer, Technical Instructor or similar role may be suitable for this position.
