A) OrganizationalRelationships:

1. `Reports to: Lead-MedicalServices

2. `Subordinate Staff:Only those for whom the jobholder is directly responsible like Technicians,Radiological Transcriptionist, ANM

`

B) Job Summary :

1. `To exercise thehighest possible standard of patient care according to his/ her clinicalprivileges and available resources.

`

2. `To participate inthe quality improvement training and teaching program of the hospital.

`

C) Dutiesand Responsibilities :

1. `Abide by theMedical Staff Bylaws, Code of Medical Ethics, Rules and Regulations of theMedical Staff and those specific to the department.

`

2. `Provide thehighest attainable standard of medical care for the patients for whom he/ she areresponsible.

`

3. `Responsible forthe clinical care of the Patients requiring Medical Care according to generallyaccepted standards.

`

4. `To attend alloutdoor patients as per timings of OPD for particular days and norms ofthe

`

Hospital.

1. `To communicate andcooperate with other medical staff and colleagues who have patients in thehospital and wish to discuss other pertinent medical problems regardingpatients in other areas of the hospital.

`

`ToConduct All Radio diagnosis procedures

`

3. `Suggest thenecessary investigation and treatment as per their Knowledge

`

4. `To be On Call forthe emergency day allotted and for Radiology References on respective day/nightallotted to the Consultant.

`

5. `Accept the dutyhours including night emergencies in rotations

`

6. `Facilitate thepatient and perform tests with complete patience and depth

`

7. `Participates inthe on-call duties as required by the department. Teaches staff assigned fortraining purposes, and participates in the planning and development of the Medicinedepartment.

`

D) Qualified Experience

1. ` Essential : He / she is a Radiologistwho receives training and certification in a Major Board recognized by theIndian Medical Council.

`

2. ` Desirable : Good interpersonal,analytical, decision-making skills; presence of mind.

`

E) Personal Qualities:

1. ` Essential : Self-motivated and awareof current trends in the field

`

2. ` Essential : Ability to work in amulti-cultural environment

`

3. ` Essential: Ability to speak, read andwrite English

`

4. ` Desirable: Ability to speak Gujarati
