Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Quality Manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining product quality, reducing rejection and rework, implementing quality systems, handling customer complaints, and ensuring that products meet customer specifications and applicable quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the Quality Control and Quality Assurance team.
- Establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Monitor quality at incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
- Review and approve inspection standards, control plans, and quality procedures.
- Monitor and reduce internal rejection, rework, scrap, and customer complaints.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for quality problems using appropriate problem-solving methods.
- Implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Handle customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions with Production and other departments.
- Ensure proper inspection and testing of brass, CNC, automatic lathe, precision turned components, fittings, and other products.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance/calibration of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Review inspection reports, quality records, and process performance.
- Develop and implement Quality Control Plans, Inspection Standards, SOPs,



and Work Instructions.
- Conduct process and product audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, Tool Room, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Evaluate supplier quality and support supplier development activities.
- Monitor incoming raw material and component quality.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of rejected/non-conforming materials.
- Maintain product traceability and quality documentation.
- Prepare and review quality-related MIS and KPI reports for management.
- Train and guide QC inspectors and production personnel regarding quality requirements.
- Support new product development and sample approval activities.
- Participate in customer audits and third-party/statutory audits.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems and customer-specific requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve product quality and reduce manufacturing losses.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of GD&T;, tolerances, limits, and fits.
- Good knowledge of measuring instruments and gauges.
- Knowledge of CNC/automatic lathe machining and precision component manufacturing.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as:
- 7 QC Tools
- Root Cause Analysis
- 5 Why
- Fishbone Analysis

- FMEA
- Control Plan
- SPC
- MSA
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Knowledge of calibration and measuring-instrument control.
- Good knowledge of documentation and quality reporting.

Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Quality, or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance.
- Experience in brass, CNC, precision machining, automatic lathe, fittings, or engineering component manufacturing will be strongly preferred.
- Experience handling international/export customers will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
