Sidhakala Group of Industries founded in 1997 is a press components, press toolings and welded assemblies manufacturing company. It comprises of two main units: Sidhakala Engineers (Bhosari plant); Sidhakala Industries (Chakan plant)

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

- Bachelors/Masters (Engineering)
- Over 12+ years of experience, and 5+ years as a Quality Head in a Sheet Metal Press Part manufacturing company or a similar role.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Experience with Auditing systems based on ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949. Hands-on experience in Sheet Metal Part Manufacturing Company
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to work independently, carry out duties in assigned time, effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 requirements.
- Lead the Quality department and ensure product quality throughout incoming, in-process and final inspection activities.
- Drive customer satisfaction by ensuring zero-defect manufacturing and continual quality improvements.
- Lead implementation of AIAG Core Tools including APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, DFMEA, MSA, SPC, Control Plans and Process Flow Diagrams.
- Lead complete APQP activities including planning, product design, process design, validation and feedback for recent product development.
- Prepare, review and approve PPAP documentation and ensure timely submission as per customer requirements.
- Customer / supplier audit and improvement action compliance & CQI-11 knowledge




- Conduct PFMEA and DFMEA studies to identify process risks and implement preventive actions.
- Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) including Gauge R&R;, Bias, Linearity and Stability studies.
- Monitor and improve process capability through SPC, CP, CPK, PP and PPK studies.
- Ensure implementation and effective utilization of 7 QC Tools including Check Sheet, Histogram, Pareto Chart, Cause & Effect Diagram, Scatter Diagram and Control Charts.
- Lead structured problem-solving using 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, CAPA and Root Cause Analysis.
- Implement Poka-Yoke, Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing practices to eliminate defects and improve process capability.
- Monitor and reduce Customer PPM, Internal PPM, Supplier PPM, Rejection, Rework and Scrap through systematic improvement initiatives.
- Conduct Internal Audits, Process Audits, Product Audits, Supplier Audits and Customer Audits to ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure effective management of calibration systems, measuring instruments, Gauge R&R; and traceability.
- Review engineering and process changes from a quality perspective and update FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP documentation accordingly.
- Ensure compliance with environmental requirements under ISO 14001 and all applicable statutory and customer requirements.
- Monitor Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), warranty claims, quality losses and implement cost reduction initiatives.
- Calculate and analyses PPM, Sample Size, CP, CPK, PP, PPK, GR&R;, Control Limits (UCL/LCL), Quality Cost and Process Capability.
- Develop quality objectives, KPIs and MIS reports, and present quality performance to senior management.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase, Tool Room and Customers to ensure achievement of quality objectives.
- Lead, mentor and develop the Quality team by promoting a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best quality practices, preventive quality systems and customer-focused manufacturing standards.
