Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Mechanical
Job Responsibilities
- Check engineering drawings and dimensions as per requirements.
- Inspect machine components, fixtures, and fabricated parts.
- Verify dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
- Prepare and maintain inspection and quality reports.
- Follow up with the Production and Design teams for quality issues.
- Identify dimensional and quality defects and coordinate for correction.
- Maintain proper quality records and inspection documents.
- Ensure components are manufactured as per approved drawings.
- Support final inspection before dispatch.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Engineering Drawings.
- Knowledge of 2D drawings and dimensional inspection.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T; is preferred.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Valuable follow-up and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in drawing checking, dimension inspection, quality report preparation, and production follow-up are preferred.
