Responsibilities

- Create and update test scenarios/cases on a regular basis

- Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, Performance Testing, to identify defects and ensure the stability of the software

- Develop and execute automated tests to ensure the functional correctness and usability.

- Document and track software defects, verifying bug fixes, and ensuring they are properly resolved

- Collaborate with Developers, Scrum Master, PO, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage

- Participate for assist with the investigation of support issues

- Contribute to test planning activities.





- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, providing input on user stories, acceptance criteria, and testability of features

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer, Software Engineering, or a related field

- Proven experience in manual testing of web-based applications

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and techniques ​

- 2+ years of experience in manual testing of complex applications.

- Robust knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA methodologies.

- Expertise in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.

- Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Perform api testing when needed

- Excellent conversational and professional communication.

- Strong proficiency in Playwright

- Solid knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

- Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM).

- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured) is a mandate.

- Knowledge of SQL for database testing.

- Familiarity with TDD, unit testing, and QA lifecycle processes.

- Experience with Test automation tools using an object-oriented approach.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work proactively in a Scrum/Agile environment.
