We are looking for a Quality Engineer to ensure that manufacturing, fabrication and inspection activities comply with customer specifications, applicable standards and internal quality procedures. The candidate should have experience in FRP/GRP products, chemical equipment, fabrication or industrial manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct incoming, in-process and final inspection of raw materials and finished products.
- Inspect FRP/GRP tanks, vessels, reactors, pipes, fittings and chemical equipment.
- Verify product dimensions, thickness, workmanship and specifications as per drawings and quality requirements.
- Perform and monitor quality tests such as Barcol hardness, spark/holiday testing, hydrotesting, thickness measurement and dimensional inspection.
- Monitor FRP manufacturing processes including hand lay-up and filament winding.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Checklists, Test Reports, NCRs and other QA/QC documentation.
- Identify defects, investigate root causes and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase and Project teams to resolve quality-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, approved drawings, inspection plans and applicable standards.




- Coordinate with customers/third-party inspectors during inspection and testing activities when required.
- Maintain quality records and ensure traceability of materials and products.
- Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure that products are released only after completing required quality inspections and testing.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of FRP/GRP manufacturing and fabrication processes will be preferred.
- Understanding of FRP laminates, resins, glass content, curing and corrosion-resistant materials is an advantage.
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Robust problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates from FRP/GRP manufacturing, chemical equipment, pressure vessel, tank manufacturing, piping, composites, fabrication or industrial equipment manufacturing backgrounds will be preferred.
