Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Quality Engineer to drive quality engineering initiatives across our data and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation testing, performance testing, quality engineering, and modern testing methodologies, with a proven ability to build a self-service testing framework that enables business and technical users to easily create, execute, and maintain test cases.

This role will be responsible for leveraging testing Automation capabilities to accelerate test automation, improve test coverage, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall software quality. Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) platforms such as Reltio or Informatica MDM is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, Data, Integration, and End-to-End testing.
- Build and implement a scalable self-service testing platform that enables users to:
- Create and maintain test cases with minimal coding.
- Generate test scenarios using AI-assisted capabilities.
- Execute automated tests across environments on demand.
- Review test execution results, quality metrics, and defect insights through dashboards.
- Leverage AI and Generative AI capabilities to:
- Automatically generate test cases from requirements, user stories, APIs, and business processes.
- Generate synthetic test data and test scenarios.
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend additional test cases.
- Optimize regression testing through intelligent test selection.
- Auto-heal automation scripts when application changes occur.
- Analyze test results and defect patterns to improve software quality.
- Develop reusable automation components, libraries, and testing accelerators.
- Build automated validation frameworks for MDM, data integration, data quality, and master data workflows.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
- Ensure automation frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise quality engineering standards.

Performance & Reliability Testing

- Design and execute load, stress, scalability,



and performance tests.
- Analyze performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Validate reliability, scalability, and resilience of applications and platforms.
- Develop performance benchmarks and monitoring strategies.

Manual & Exploratory Testing

- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Validate end-to-end business processes and user experiences.
- Review requirements and ensure adequate test coverage and traceability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and testing strategies.

Defect Management & Quality Governance

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Establish quality metrics, KPIs, and release readiness criteria.
- Build dashboards and reports to provide visibility into testing progress and product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, Data Engineers, and Business Teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Provide guidance on test automation strategies and quality engineering best practices.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and architecture discussions from a quality perspective.
- Mentor team members and champion modern AI-driven testing practices.

Mandatory Skills

Test Automation

- Strong experience with automation testing tools such as: Rest Assured, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Robot Framework, Equivalent automation technologies
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-grade test automation frameworks.
- Experience building self-service test automation platforms that simplify test creation and execution for non-technical users.




- Hands-on experience leveraging AI-driven testing capabilities for test generation, maintenance, execution, and reporting.
- Experience with AI-enabled testing tools such as: GitHub Copilot, Testim, Mabl, Functionize, Tricentis AI, Similar AI-powered testing solutions
- Strong experience with API testing and automation.

Performance Testing

- Hands-on experience using: JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, K6, Similar performance testing tools

Programming & Scripting

- Solid proficiency in:

- Python

- JavaScript / TypeScript

- Java

- Shell Scripting
- Ability to build custom testing utilities, frameworks, and integrations.

Quality Engineering & DevOps

- Strong understanding of:
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

- Test Management

- Defect Management

- Regression Testing

- Quality Engineering principles
- Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines, version control, and bug tracking systems using GitHub Actions or similar platforms
- Hands-on experience with:

- Git

- JIRA

- Test management tools

Preferred Skills

- Experience testing MDM platforms such as:

- Reltio

- Informatica MDM

- Knowledge of
- Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Integration, Data Validation Frameworks
- Experience testing data pipelines and enterprise data platforms.
- Exposure to cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS)

- Experience with

- Microservices-based architectures
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, Prompt Engineering, and AI Agents supporting software testing and quality engineering.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering roles.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks.
- Experience building or implementing self-service testing capabilities is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
