Key Responsibilities

- Ensure all construction work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of RCC, masonry, plaster, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, painting, plumbing, electrical and finishing works.
- Inspect incoming construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, blocks, tiles, waterproofing materials and other finishing materials.
- Verify material quality through test certificates, laboratory reports and site testing as required.
- Monitor concrete pouring, slump tests, cube tests and other relevant quality tests.
- Ensure proper reinforcement, shuttering, cover, levels, alignment and dimensions before concrete casting.
- Identify construction defects, deviations and non-conformities and ensure timely corrective action.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), Material Inspection Reports, Test Reports, Checklists, NCRs and Quality Records.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, Contractors, Vendors and Consultants for quality-related issues.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved method statements and quality checklists.
- Conduct stage-wise inspections and ensure approval before proceeding to the next activity.
- Monitor waterproofing tests, pond tests and leakage checks for bathrooms, terraces, balconies and other wet areas.
- Check finishing quality including tile alignment, level, plaster finish, painting, doors, windows, sanitary fittings and other residential finishing works.




- Maintain proper documentation of quality inspections and testing activities.
- Conduct regular site quality audits and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IS Codes, project specifications and company quality standards.
- Support the Project Manager in achieving zero-defect / minimum-rework construction.
- Coordinate with contractors to reduce rework, material wastage and quality-related complaints.
- Maintain records of defects and ensure their closure within the required timeline.
- Assist in final inspection, snagging and handover quality checks of residential units.

Required Skills

- Robust knowledge of residential construction and finishing works.
- Good understanding of RCC, masonry, plaster, waterproofing and finishing activities.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspection checklists and testing methods.
- Knowledge of relevant IS Codes and construction standards.
- Ability to identify construction defects and provide practical solutions.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel and MS Office.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently at a construction site.
