Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer responsible for ensuring that manufactured components and processes meet required quality standards, engineering specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, GD&T;, tolerances, and specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
- Identify quality issues, defects, rejection, and rework.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate with production, machining, and engineering teams to resolve quality problems.
- Prepare and maintain inspection plans, check sheets, and quality documentation.
- Support first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Handle customer complaints and assist in corrective action reports.
- Ensure measuring instruments are properly calibrated and maintained.
- Conduct process and product audits as required.
- Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection and improve product quality.




- Follow company quality procedures and safety requirements.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Good knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, and CAPA.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of CNC/VMC machining quality inspection is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or related engineering field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance preferred.
- Experience in machining, automotive, engineering, or precision component manufacturing is an advantage.
