Role Description The Quality Assurance Lead is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This role involves leading QA planning and execution across projects, defining test strategies, and ensuring adherence to quality standards and best practices.

The Quality Assurance

Lead will coordinate manual and automated testing activities, review test cases and scripts, track defects, and work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality. The role includes mentoring QA team members, optimizing QA processes and tools,



and providing regular status reports and risk assessments to project stakeholders. The position also requires collaboration with engineering, product, and delivery teams to support continuous improvement and high-quality releases.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in test planning, test case design, and execution across functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Candidates should possess expertise in test automation tools and frameworks, including maintaining automation suites and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in defect management, including defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting using industry-standard tools.
- Candidates should possess experience with performance, security, and compatibility testing to ensure scalable and secure applications.
- Candidates should possess strong leadership and team management abilities, including mentoring QA engineers and coordinating QA activities across multiple projects.
- Candidates should possess excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills to collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in enterprise, cloud-native, or digital transformation projects is beneficial.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, along with prior experience in a QA lead or senior QA role, is preferred.
