Job Title :- Quality Assurance Engineer (QA Engineer)

Experience:- 4-6 Years

Working Mode:- Hybrid (3 Days/Week in office)

Location:- EGL, Domlur (Can change).

Work hours:- 40 hours / Week

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Execution

- Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test scenarios covering:

- Positive test cases

- Negative test cases

- Functional scenarios
- Non-functional scenarios

- Edge cases

- Regression scenarios
- Ensure complete test coverage through detailed requirement analysis and gap analysis.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Sanity, Integration, System, and End-to-End testing.
- Validate business requirements and ensure applications meet acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Release activities.

Quality Ownership

- Take complete ownership and accountability for testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive quality initiatives and ensure timely delivery of high-quality releases.
- Proactively identify quality risks, testing gaps, and potential production issues.
- Provide recommendations and make informed quality decisions based on data and analysis.

Defect Management

- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using Jira.
- Manage defects through the complete Defect Life Cycle.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct and lead defect triage meetings with multiple stakeholders.

Automation Testing

- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright.
- Actively contribute to automation testing efforts by executing Playwright test scripts, analyzing failed test executions, validating issues, and reporting observations with supporting evidence to the Senior QA Engineer for further investigation and resolution.
- Contribute to automation framework enhancements and increased test coverage.
- Support automation initiatives for both UI and API testing.

API Testing

- Perform Manual API Testing and validation.
- Create and execute API automation test scenarios.
- Validate API requests, responses, authentication mechanisms, integrations, and error handling.

Non-Functional Testing





- Perform non-functional testing activities including usability, reliability, and compatibility testing.
- Support basic performance testing and analysis.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and report observations.

Documentation & Reporting

- Create and maintain:

- Test Plans

- Test Cases

- Test Execution Reports

- Defect Reports
- QA Metrics and Status Reports
- Maintain project and testing documentation in Confluence.
- Prepare and deliver testing updates and presentations to stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

- Collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
- Communicate testing status, risks, dependencies, and release readiness.
- Conduct product demonstrations and testing walkthroughs.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Hands-on experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.
- Experience with API testing, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience handling multiple stakeholders and managing quality deliverables end-to-end.
- Experience in the Industrial Machinery / Manufacturing domain will be considered a strong advantage.
- Exposure to manufacturing processes, industrial equipment, IoT-connected machinery, or related enterprise applications is preferred.
