About the Role

CEDCOSS Technologies is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated QA Analyst to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, STLC, test case creation, and defect management.

This role requires someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills who can test applications, identify defects, document issues, perform regression testing, and collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality product delivery.

Key Responsibilities****Manual Testing & Test Execution

Execute functional, smoke, sanity, regression, and UI testing to verify application functionality, usability, and overall quality.

Test Case & Test Scenario Creation

Create clear and structured test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business and technical requirements.

Bug Identification & Reporting

Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools. Provide clear steps to reproduce issues and collaborate with developers for resolution.

Retesting & Regression Testing

Perform retesting of resolved defects and regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.

API & Database Testing

Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman and validate application data using basic SQL/database queries.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, Business Analysts,



and other teams to understand requirements, clarify issues, and ensure successful product delivery.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain test cases, defect reports, test execution results, and other QA documentation. Prepare basic testing reports and communicate testing status to relevant stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

- Basic knowledge of Manual Testing, SDLC, STLC, Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Bug Life Cycle .

- Ability to create test cases, identify and report bugs, and perform retesting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing and Postman .

- Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts is a plus.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar testing/bug-tracking tools .

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering

, or a related field.

● 0–6 months of experience or relevant academic/project experience in Software Testing.

● Basic knowledge of Manual Testing and QA methodologies.

● Familiarity with Jira, Postman, SQL, or testing tools is an advantage.

● Basic understanding of Automation Testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
