Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA & QC Manager to independently lead the complete Quality function for our Kaolin Clay manufacturing operations. The role will be responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, laboratory operations, quality standardization, customer complaints, ISO/QMS, SOPs, calibration, audits and team development.

The candidate must be technically hands-on, disciplined and capable of taking complete departmental ownership within a short transition period.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead complete QA/QC and laboratory operations, with QC functioning under the overall QA framework.
- Control quality across all process , covering raw material, in-process and finished-product quality.
- Ensure consistency of key kaolin parameters including physical and chemical parameters.
- Develop and implement SOPs, test methods, specifications, work instructions, quality formats and standardization systems.
- Manage laboratory instruments, testing methodology, equipment maintenance, calibration/verification schedules and testing accuracy.
- Lead ISO/QMS requirements, certifications, internal/external audits, documentation and audit compliance.
- Own customer quality complaints/cases, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, technical investigation and coordinate closure with Production, Sales and customers.
- Monitor quality trends, process deviations, rejection/reprocessing and drive continuous quality improvement.
- Establish departmental KPIs,



quality controls and escalation mechanisms.
- Lead, train and develop chemists and QA/QC personnel while maintaining solid discipline, technical competency and accountability.
- Coordinate closely with Production while independently protecting product and customer quality standards.

Education: M.Sc. Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry preferred. B.Sc. Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Ceramic Technology or Mineral Processing may be considered with strong relevant experience. Experience: 10 - 14 years in QA/QC with significant hands-on exposure to Kaolin/China Clay/Clay Processing or Industrial Minerals. Previous experience independently managing a laboratory/quality team is essential.

Candidate should have strong knowledge of kaolin testing, laboratory instruments, calibration, ISO/QMS, audits, SOP development, CAPA, customer complaint handling and process quality control. Laboratory quality systems commonly require documented procedures, calibration controls and clearly defined technical responsibilities.
