– QA Manager (Functional QA – Capital Markets)
We are looking for a QA Manager with 10–15 years of overall IT experience, including 8+ years of hands-on Functional/Manual Testing experience in Capital Markets. The ideal candidate should possess a strong blend of QA leadership, stakeholder management, and hands-on technical expertise, with the ability to define QA strategy while actively participating in technical discussions, reviewing automation/code, SQL queries, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and define the overall Test Strategy, Test Approach, and QA Governance for Capital Markets programs.
- Lead end-to-end QA delivery across SIT, System Testing, Integration, Regression, UAT, End-to-End Testing, Operational Readiness, and Production Validation.
- Drive the complete test lifecycle from planning, estimation, execution, defect management, release readiness, and post-production validation.
- Manage multiple business and technology stakeholders, acting as the primary QA point of contact across Business, Product, Technology, Operations, Architecture, and Program Management teams.
- Own Defect Management, Risk Assessment, Release Readiness, and Go/No-Go recommendations for production releases.
- Lead End-of-Day (EOD) testing, batch processing validation, reconciliation, downstream system validation, and interface testing for business-critical workflows.
- Establish QA governance standards and track key QA metrics, including test execution progress, defect trends, requirement coverage, environment readiness, and release health.
- Mentor QA teams while remaining technically hands-on by reviewing automation approaches, code, APIs, and SQL queries.
Mandatory Skills
- 10–15 years of total IT experience with 8+ years in Functional/Manual Testing.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, Test Strategy, and Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Functional, Integration, Regression, System, UAT,
and End-to-End testing.
- Solid SQL skills for backend data validation.
- Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
- Experience with JIRA, ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
- Ability to review technical solutions, automation frameworks, and code as part of QA governance.
- Experience leading QA teams across multiple concurrent projects and releases.

Preferred Profile
- Strong leadership experience managing QA delivery for enterprise-scale Capital Markets programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to balance strategic QA governance with hands-on technical involvement.
- Experience working in Agile environments with globally distributed teams.
Note: This is a hands-on QA Manager role. Candidates should be comfortable defining QA strategy, leading large QA programs, managing multiple stakeholders, and actively participating in technical discussions, code/automation reviews, SQL validation, API testing, and release governance.
