Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Python.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks.
- Design, optimize, and manage SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code following OOP, SOLID principles, and Design Patterns.
- Develop unit and integration tests using Pytest and ensure code quality through debugging and code reviews.
- Implement authentication, authorization, secure API integrations, caching, asynchronous processing, and background jobs.
- Contribute to System Design, software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, and high-availability solutions.
- Build and maintain Docker-based applications, CI/CD pipelines,



and automated deployment workflows on AWS/cloud environments.
- Collaborate with Frontend, QA, DevOps, and Product teams in an Agile/Scrum setting to deliver end-to-end features.
- Troubleshoot production issues, monitor application performance, mentor junior developers, and continuously improve coding standards and development practices.

Skills & Qualifications

- 4–6 years of professional experience in Python/backend development with strong proficiency in Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI, preferably including Django REST Framework.
- Strong expertise in building REST APIs, Microservices, and scalable backend architectures.
- Excellent understanding of OOP, Data Structures, Algorithms, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and System Design.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, including database design and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and collaborative code review workflows.
- Experience with AWS/cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
- Strong knowledge of Pytest, unit/integration testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, and application performance optimization.
- Good understanding of authentication and authorization, including JWT/OAuth, along with secure API development practices.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix, asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and high-availability concepts.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and Agile/Scrum skills.
