Qualification

- B.E. Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Experience

- 8-10 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Preferably from Powder Coating / Engineering / Manufacturing Industry

Roles &

- Responsibilities

- Plan and manage procurement activities based on production schedules, inventory levels, market trends, and customer demand.




- Handle local and international sourcing including vendor negotiations, cost analysis, and finalization of purchase contracts.
- Lead preparation and approval of purchase orders in line with budgets and authority limits.
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Finance teams for demand forecasting and procurement planning.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and contracts to optimize cost and cash flow.
- Develop, evaluate, and strengthen supplier base for quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Oversee inventory control to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
- Manage imports, customs clearance, clearing agents, and logistics partners.
- Monitor procurement spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure budget compliance.
- Lead vendor development, audits, and performance reviews.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and statutory regulations.
- Guide and mentor the purchase team for performance improvement.
