POSITION OVERVIEW

Tranetech Software Solution is seeking an experienced Project Manager – ERP to lead and manage complex Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale ERP implementations, deep knowledge of core ERP modules, and strong leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management, stakeholder coordination, resource allocation, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution:

- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for complex ERP implementations
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Establish and manage project schedules using industry-standard tools and methodologies
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure on-time delivery

Team Leadership & Coordination:

- Lead cross-functional project teams including developers, consultants, business analysts, and QA specialists
- Assign tasks and manage team workload effectively
- Conduct regular team meetings and ensure clear communication channels
- Mentor and guide team members on project requirements and best practices

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions and manage stakeholder expectations
- Provide regular project status updates to clients and senior management
- Address client concerns and manage change requests professionally

ERP Module Implementation:

- Oversee implementation of core ERP modules including:
- Human Resource Management System (HRMS) – Employee lifecycle, payroll, benefits, training
- Finance & Accounting – General ledger, accounts payable/receivable, budgeting
- Procurement & Supply Chain – Purchase orders, vendor management, inventory
- Sales & Distribution – Order management, billing, customer relationship
- Ensure proper configuration and customization of modules per client requirements
- Validate module functionality and data integrity

Quality Assurance & Testing:





- Define testing strategies and quality standards
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) and system testing phases
- Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards

Risk & Issue Management:

- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Document and track project issues and their resolution
- Escalate critical issues to senior management
- Implement preventive measures to avoid future problems

Documentation & Reporting:

- Maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Prepare detailed project reports, dashboards, and KPIs
- Create training materials and end-user documentation
- Generate lessons learned reports upon project completion

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Professional Experience:

- Minimum 10+ years of project management experience in ERP implementations
- Minimum 10+ complex ERP projects successfully delivered and closed
- Proven experience managing projects with budgets ranging from ₹50 lakhs to ₹10 crores+
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar platforms)

Technical Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of core ERP modules: HRMS, Finance, Procurement, Sales & Distribution
- Understanding of ERP implementation lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with ERP configuration and customization processes
- Knowledge of data migration, system integration, and APIs
- Experience with reporting tools and business intelligence integration

Project Management Expertise:

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Waterfall)
- Proficiency with project management tools ( Jira, Asana, or Clickups)
- Experience with enterprise-level implementations and large team management
- Budget management and cost control experience

Education:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field




- PMP (Project Management Professional)

- Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Comfortable with technical documentation and system architecture
- Basic understanding of SQL and databases
- Ability to learn recent technologies quickly

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with Tranetech Software Solution's ERP products or similar platforms
- Knowledge of industry-specific ERP implementations (Real estate, Retail, Healthcare, etc.)
- Experience with agile project management methodologies
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or change management
- Previous experience in consulting or systems integration firms
- Multilingual capabilities (English + Regional Language)
