This position involves leading complex projects, aligning them with business goals, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role requires working in a US shift (India-based) to effectively communicate and coordinate with stakeholders and project teams working across India & US timezones.
Key Responsibilities:
· Own end-to-end delivery of assigned projects from initiation through closure, ensuring scope, timeline, budget, and outcomes are met; keep projects outcome-driven, not activity-driven.
· Develop and maintain execution-focused project plans with transparent milestones, owners, dependencies, and success criteria.
· Drive day-to-day execution, follow-ups, and issue resolution to ensure consistent forward progress.
· Estimate, track, and report project budgets; monitor burn vs plan, flag variances early, and recommend corrective actions.
· Provide leadership with clear visibility into project health, spend, risks, and delivery status.
· Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks using a standardized risk framework; maintain risk and issue logs with defined mitigations and owners.
· Escalate material risks and issues with context, options, and recommended paths forward.
· Serve as the primary point of coordination between business, technology, PMO leadership, and vendors.
· Run efficient, decision-oriented meetings,
document clear actions, owners, and next steps.
· Deliver concise, data-backed status updates covering health, risks, budget, timeline, and dependencies.
· Manage stakeholder expectations with transparency, clarity, and timely communication.
· Track vendor delivery against SOW commitments, milestones, and outcomes; identify delivery or cost risks early and escalate as needed.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and manage resource allocation across IT and business initiatives.
· Apply lean project management principles—clear expectations, minimal overhead, and repeatable practices; use and improve standard PMO templates.
· Contribute to continuous improvement of PMO processes based on practical delivery insights.
· Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including plans, risk registers, process maps, and lessons learned.
· Coach stakeholders on defining activities required to achieve outcomes; mentor junior project managers and team members on project management best practices.
Qualifications:
· 10+ years of experience managing complex projects in a dynamic environment.
· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
· Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Jira).
· Proven ability to manage project risks, budgets, and resources effectively.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills (C-level).
· Ability to coach and mentor team members on project management best practices.
· Ability to balance execution rigor with pragmatism
· Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2, CSM, or equivalent) is a plus.
