About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage IT projects within the Banking/Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate should have strong project management expertise, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a good understanding of data privacy and regulatory requirements, particularly DPDP Act and GDPR.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage project plans, budgets, risks, dependencies, and overall project governance.
- Coordinate with business, technology, compliance, security, and other cross-functional teams.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines, scope, quality, and budget.
- Identify project risks and dependencies and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular project reviews and provide management with status reports and key updates.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, processes, and governance standards.
- Manage client and senior stakeholder expectations and effectively communicate project progress.
- Ensure project deliverables align with applicable data privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Information Security, and Technology teams on privacy-related initiatives.

Data Privacy & Regulatory Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act and GDPR.




- Understanding of data privacy principles, regulatory compliance, and data protection requirements.
- Exposure to privacy-related projects such as Data Mapping, ROPA, DPIA, consent management, data classification, and privacy compliance will be an advantage.
- Ability to translate privacy and regulatory requirements into project deliverables and technology requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management.
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects in the Banking/Financial Services domain.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent stakeholder, client, vendor, and team management skills.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and change management capabilities.
- Positive understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle, and technology projects.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Knowledge of DPDP Act, GDPR, and data privacy regulations is mandatory/preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification will be an advantage.
- Experience in Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or Financial Services projects.
- Experience managing projects involving Privacy, Cybersecurity, Risk, Compliance, or Regulatory Technology will be preferred.

Ideal Candidate A senior IT Project Manager with 10+ years of experience, strong Banking domain exposure, and hands-on understanding of privacy regulations such as DPDP and GDPR, who can independently drive complex projects and manage multiple stakeholders. Pay: ₹622,954.51 - ₹1,144,303.06 per year
