About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Electrical to oversee and manage electrical construction projects involving 66kV/110kV/220kV Sub-Stations and EHT Transmission Lines. The candidate will be responsible for project execution, estimation, tendering, billing, material inspection, construction coordination, testing and commissioning, and resolving site-level technical and ROW-related issues.

Key Projects The selected candidate will be responsible for looking after the construction works of the following projects:

- CHESCOM 33kV New Projects
- K. Peraje – Project No. 127
- Sampaje – Project No. 128
- KPTCL 66kV Projects
- Katkeri Sub-Station & Lines
- Kalathmadu Sub-Station & Lines
- KPTCL Hangarally Package
- Augmentation Works

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day electrical construction activities at project sites.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor project execution as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules.
- Prepare project estimates, BOQs and tender-related documents.
- Handle project billing, measurements and documentation.
- Coordinate with KPTCL/CHESCOM officials, consultants, contractors, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Inspect and verify electrical materials received at project sites.




- Supervise erection and installation of electrical equipment for 66kV/110kV/220kV substations.
- Monitor UG cable and control cable laying, testing and commissioning activities.
- Supervise construction of EHT transmission lines, including:
- Tower foundation works
- Tower erection
- Conductor stringing
- Transmission line construction activities
- ROW-related issue resolution
- Coordinate with department engineers for technical approvals and site-related requirements.
- Supervise 110kV/66kV UG cable laying and commissioning works.
- Ensure adherence to safety procedures, technical standards and quality requirements.
- Monitor project progress, manpower, materials and resources.
- Identify site-level technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare project progress reports and maintain necessary project documentation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned works within the approved scope, cost and schedule.
- Perform any other duties related to EHV electrical construction and project execution as assigned by the management.

Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of 66kV/110kV/220kV Sub-Station construction.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment erection and installation.
- Knowledge of UG Cable and Control Cable laying, testing and commissioning.
- Practical experience in EHT transmission line construction.
- Knowledge of tower foundation and stringing works.




- Ability to handle and resolve Right of Way (ROW) issues.
- Knowledge of 110kV/66kV UG cable laying and commissioning.
- Knowledge of estimation, tendering and project billing.
- Material inspection and quality control knowledge.
- Good understanding of project documentation and site coordination.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with government utility officials, contractors and project stakeholders.

Eligibility
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in electrical construction projects.
- Experience in construction of 220kV/110kV/66kV Sub-Stations and EHT Lines.
- Candidates with experience in KPTCL projects or similar utility projects will be preferred.
- Experience with reputed private companies, EPC companies or electrical contractors is desirable.

Compensation Salary: As per the candidate’s last drawn salary, commensurate with relevant experience, technical expertise and project responsibilities, along with applicable allowances and perks as per company policy.
