Summary Of Role

This role would be primarily in charge of spearheading and managing programs on ground implementation for 5 various 3 states, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Their responsibilities revolve around participating in setting goals and objectives, overseeing the workforce, and even establishing guidelines.

They would be responsible for maintaining budgets, reporting issues and risks of the projects and records pertaining to the program expenditures, and organizing the activities and agenda for the program. Communicating with various departments in the organization to make sure everyone is on the same page.

Essential Functions

- Monitoring program operational progress, and implementation, creating status reports for managers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Assisting with resource scheduling so that team members have the resources they need to complete their tasks.
- Ensuring keeping programs on schedule, within stated budgets, and functioning smoothly by managing teams’ work assignments, workloads, and work schedules.
- Acts as a liaison to the field for day-to-day problem solving and support. Independently troubleshoots common problems and escalates more complex issues to the Manager and follows up until resolved.
- Scheduling stakeholder meetings and facilitating communication between the program manager and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.
- Works alongside program leads to review budgets, budget projections, invoices, and reports.
- Managing program management documents such as the project plan, budget, schedule including reviewing project reports, drafting comprehensive reports with effective pictorial representation and assimilating information into reports in accordance with organizational and project deliverables.
- Overseeing and tracking a variety of project management administrative tasks such as billing, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Scheduling and organizing program-related meetings and events
- Developing comprehensive reports on ongoing programs and submitting summary reports to program leads monthly/quarterly/annually.




- Develop PowerPoint presentations for use during program-related events and activities.
- Manage and report periodically as per designated reporting process,
- Maintain a robust knowledge of current affairs related to the education sector aligned to E&E; conservation.
- Collaborate with external organizations and teams within Damooga Foundation to pursue project objectives and broader organizational goals, including those related to brand, communications, and resource management.
- Actively participate in building the organization’s brand and maintain its integrity.
- Actively participate in supporting the organization to ensure efficient and effective resource management (financial, staff, and IT) by improving systems, reporting, and compliance.

Skills, Education, And Experience Requirements

- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution or MSW (Master of Social Work) along with a Diploma in Environmental Science or Renewable Energy or any other related field.
- 3-7 years of experience in the design and delivery of impactful projects.
- Knowledge of environmental/renewable energy programs, solar panels installation or experience in the field of the education system, particularly digital education and science.
- Ability to work and communicate with a diverse group of people of different cultural backgrounds, especially Assamese.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and online communication platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams).

Project Accountabilities

- Project Management: Lead on-ground implementation of the Energy and Environment Awareness and Solar Energy Promotion project across 3 states.
- Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessment and ensure sustainable functioning of infrastructure such as solar panels and smart TVs installed under the project.
- Compliance: Adhere to the organization’s policies and procedures.
