Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Control Engineer with strong experience in the Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry to join our Global Projects team in Mumbai.

The candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, progress monitoring, and project reporting for site capital projects supporting international project teams across North America and Europe.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project, SAP PS, PIMS, cost control, project scheduling, and project performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage project controls activities for assigned capital projects.
- Develop, maintain, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Prepare project cost, schedule, and progress reports.
- Monitor project budgets, actual costs, commitments, forecasts, and cost performance.
- Prepare project budgets and forecasts using cost engineering principles.
- Develop and maintain WBS/CBS and support project cost tracking.
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles for project performance monitoring.
- Monitor project progress and identify cost and schedule variances.
- Prepare monthly progress reports and management reports.
- Prepare project-related dashboards and ad-hoc reports as required.
- Raise and coordinate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for assigned projects.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for invoicing and payment-related activities.
- Prepare and process Service Entry Sheets (SES)



and ensure timely clearance.
- Follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely vendor/contractor payments.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Management, and other stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely project controls information to project leadership.
- Support project teams in identifying potential cost and schedule risks and implementing corrective actions.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Degree / Diploma in Engineering.
- 15+ years of relevant Project Controls experience.
- Mandatory experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Working knowledge of SAP PS Module and PIMS.
- Good understanding of:

- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Power BI will be an added advantage.

- Ability to work with international teams and manage multiple project control activities.

Industry Requirement Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry experience is mandatory.

Candidates with Project Controls experience from unrelated industries will not be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with extensive experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical capital projects and solid expertise in Project Planning, Scheduling, Cost Control, Forecasting, Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP PS, Excel, and project reporting are preferred.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
